To uncover heads of cylinders with laying.
To establish the crankshaft in situation the corresponding VMT of the piston of the 1st cylinder, see. Section Removal and installation of a gear belt (DOHC).

Position of the crankshaft after that should not change more. |

Holding cam-shafts a key, to unscrew bolts of fastening of cogwheels. To remove cogwheels of cam-shafts, if necessary to bring down in easy blows of a rubber hammer. |

To unscrew a sealing plate.

To check axial люфт cam-shafts. Demanded value: 0,07-0,19 mm. The most admissible axial люфт: 0,20 mm. If this value is exceeded, it is necessary to replace cam-shafts and, probably, a head of cylinders.

To mark all covers of bearings with chalk or a felt-tip pen that at installation it was possible to establish them on former places and in the same situation.
|
|
Evenly to weaken covers of bearings of inlet and final camshafts for some passes in that order and to remove covers.
|
To remove cam-shafts with old epiploons.
|
|
Installation
|
|
As axial люфт a cam-shaft it is smallest, at installation the cam-shaft should be held in horizontal situation. For providing it it is necessary to fulfill the following requirements. If the cam-shaft at installation is warped, the shaft or a head of cylinders can be damaged. |
|
|
To cover all places of support of cam-shafts with a small amount of engine oil.
To insert cam-shafts.
|
|
To put on the shaded places hermetic on a silicone basis (for example, DOW CORNING Q3-7057).
|
|
|
Hermetic should not be put on necks of bearings. |
To establish all covers of bearings according to marking.
|
|
To tighten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings by means of a dinamometrichesky key in the given sequence. The inhaling of bolts is carried out for two passes.
|
1st pass: 10 Nanometers 2nd pass: 15 Nanometers To grease epiploons of cam-shafts and a place of their landing with a small amount of engine oil. Carefully to hammer an epiploon a pipe of the same diameter. To hammer epiploons that they were level with a head of cylinders. | Epiploons at installation not to warp. |
To establish a sealing plate and to tighten fastening bolts with effort of 10 Nanometers.
To clear a cam-shaft cogwheel of water and oil.

To turn cam-shafts that directing pins were turned up.
|
To establish cogwheels of cam-shafts up marks I (the inlet party), Е (the final party).
To tighten bolts of fastening of cam-shafts with effort of 60 Nanometers. Thus to hold a wheel an adjustable spanner. | At an inhaling of a cam-shaft not to damage a head of cylinders a key. |
