Check of the fuel pump If the engine is started badly or not started in general, and also глохнет during movement, it is necessary to check operation of the fuel pump. The fuel pump is in a fuel tank. For working capacity check it is not required to remove the pump.

To uncover a fuel tank and to check, whether noise from operation of the fuel pump is audible. If noise from work it is not audible, it is necessary to check wires according to the scheme on break existence. If wires are serviceable, and noise from work all the same is not audible, means, it is necessary to check the relay of the fuel pump.

To include ignition.

To measure by means of the voltmeter tension between the In/R plug (to 9/89 g вып. GR plug) and weight. It should make 12 Century.

To switch off ignition.
If tension does not correspond demanded, to unscrew a lateral upholstery of the average console in a compartment for feet of the passenger. The relay of the fuel pump is near a monitor.
To include ignition.

To check, that the relay was switched is distinguishable aurally. If the relay is not switched, it is necessary to check resistance of the relay.

To disconnect the tip on the relay.
To measure resistance between plugs by means of an ohmmeter.

If one or several values does not correspond to requirements, it is necessary to replace the relay. If the relay is serviceable, it is necessary to check pressure of fuel.

Check conditions: The battery is completely charged (12 Volts), the fuel filter in a faultless condition.
To level pressure of fuel.
To disconnect топливопровод between the fuel filter and the distributive highway on the filter, previously having weakened a collar. | To put around топливопровода a rag as fuel can act. |

To connect a manometer about a top a livostoyky auxiliary hose to the fuel filter.
|
To include ignition, the engine not to start.
To measure pressure of fuel. Demanded value: 4,4-5,8 Bar.
If value does not correspond to requirements, fuel hoses and connections should be checked on damages, tightness and a contamination. If hoses are serviceable, it is necessary to replace the fuel pump.
To switch off ignition.
To disconnect a cable from the diagnostic socket.
To remove an auxiliary hose and a manometer and to connect a fuel hose, having fixed it a collar.
To start the engine and to check tightness of fuel system.
