The system of cooling consists of a radiator, the water pump, the thermostat and the electric fan.

The contour of cooling liquid copes thermostatic. While the engine cold, cooling liquid circulates only in the block of cylinders and the heater heat exchanger. When heating cooling liquid the thermostat and cooling liquid opens starts to proceed through a radiator. Cooling liquid is actuated by the water pump which is in turn actuated by a maple belt. Cooling liquid passes through a radiator from top to down and is cooled with air thus proceeding through plates.

The electric fan provides additional cooling. When the temperature of cooling liquid increases to +91°С, the thermoswitch via the relay turns on the fan. If the temperature of cooling liquid falls below +84°С, the thermoswitch automatically disconnects the fan.

The tank of cooling liquid serves as a broad tank and collects liquid extending at heating, and after cooling of the engine returns it back in a contour. At the expense of it the contour is constantly filled and provides good cooling. To be added cooling liquid should only through a broad tank.

The fan of a radiator can automatically turn on at the switched-off engine and the included ignition. This process caused by heat in an impellent compartment, can repeat several times. At works in an impellent compartment on the hot engine always it is necessary to remember possibility of unexpected turning on of the fan. Therefore whenever possible at works in an impellent compartment ignition should be switched off.
