Suspension bracket and steering system Forward suspension bracket — the general information In a forward suspension bracket MacPherson's consisting of a screw spring and the built-in hydraulic shock-absorber two amortization racks are applied. They are screwed from above on a body, from below to rotary fists. Lateral fastening is carried out by the bottom cross-section L-shaped levers of a form which are connected to rotary fists through replaced spherical support. Cross-section levers are screwed on a body through rubber support. Depending on the engine on the bottom the stabilizer of cross-section stability which is connected to amortization racks through connecting bars is fixed. The stabilizer reduces a body inclination on turns. Driving force of the engine is transferred to wheels through two power shafts. On cars with a forward drive power shafts have various length. Each shaft is equipped with two hinges of equal angular speeds. The counterbalance on the right power shaft serves for clearing of fluctuations. Cars with the DOHC engine of 1,9 l and/or a full drive have an intermediate shaft at the expense of what both power shafts are identical on length between a transmission and the right power shaft. |
