MAZDA 323 depending on model and equipment can have tires and disks of the various sizes. However, application of wheels with depth of a press fitting of 45 mm is allowed. Depth of a press fitting — this distance from the rim middle to a persistent surface of a wheel on a brake disk or a drum. All disks represent so-called hamp-disks. Hamp is a fillet pressed in a shoulder of a rim which prevents at abrupt turn an otzhimaniye of the tubeless tire from a disk. At installation of wheels or the tires which have not been specified in documents, it is necessary to bring them in documents on the car. For this purpose, as a rule, MAZDA firm permission is required.

On the basis of rules depth of a protector of the tire should not be less than 1,6 mm, namely, the profile should have depth not less than 1,6 mm on all surface. However, it is recommended to maintain for the purpose of safety summer tires to depth of a profile of 2 mm, and winter tires — to depth of a profile of 4 mm.
