Check/adjustment of number of turns of idling As diesel engines have no ignition system, the special tachometer working at a basis of photo cells is necessary. It costs quite expensively, to buy it unessentially.

To warm up the engine to working temperature, temperature of engine oil at least +80°С.
Consumers of the electric power (a radio receiver, lighting) should be switched off.
To leave the engine to idle, having tightened the hand brake.
To check number of turns of the idling, demanded value: 800-830 rpm.

If idling is adjusted incorrectly, it is necessary to weaken a lock nut and to make adjustment by rotation of the adjusting screw. After adjustment again to fix the screw.

If the number of turns does not correspond to requirements, it is necessary to address in a workshop of MAZDA or service BOSCH. |
