Removal and installation of the wheel brake cylinder

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove brake shoes.
  2. To weaken a cap nut of the brake pipeline on the wheel cylinder from a reverse side.

Brake liquid will follow thus, to substitute specially intended vessel. To observe rules of the treatment of brake liquid, see. Section Pumping of brake system.


  1. To turn out 2 bolts of fastening-1-wheel cylinders on a reverse side of a board of a brake.
  1. To remove the wheel brake cylinder.
  2. To close a brake hose a suitable stopper, to avoid big loss of liquid and dirt penetration.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To establish the wheel cylinder on a board of a brake and to tighten 2 bolts with effort of 10 Nanometers.
  2. To take out a plug and to tighten a cap nut of the brake pipeline with effort of 20 Nanometers.
  3. To establish brake shoes.
  4. To pump over brake system. Thus, as a rule, it is enough to pump over only that cylinder where the pipeline was opened. If brake pressure after pumping floats, it is necessary to pump over all system.
  5. Several times strongly to squeeze out a brake pedal. It regulates back brakes.
