Oil replacement

The following tools are necessary for replacement of oil:

Viewing hole or the hydraulic lift with support. The special adaptation for weakening of the oil filter (nippers for the oil filter, a coupling tape key or the HAZET 2172 adaptation). Set of face heads for weakening of a masloslivny stopper, and also capacity of 6 l for collecting oil.

Replacement of oil should be made through each 10.000 km, at the diesel engine through each 5.000 km. At rare trips to make oil replacement once a year. Thus the oil filter is at the same time replaced.

At operation severe conditions, movement by short pieces, frequent cold starts and a strong dust content of streets, engine oil and the oil filter should be replaced through shorter periods.

Old oil should be handed over in special points. By no means it is impossible to pour out old oil or to throw out with house garbage.

To finish engine oil to working temperature (minute +60°С), for this purpose it is necessary to make a trip on 10-15 km. To lift the car in horizontal situation. To substitute under the case pallet capacity for collecting oil. To unscrew a cover of a jellied opening. To turn out a bolt of a drain opening from below on the pallet of a case and completely to merge old oil.

If in oil traces of metal shaving and wear products in a large number are visible, it indicates damages by a rust, for example, damages of the crankshaft or shatunny bearings. In order to avoid the subsequent damages it is necessary to clear carefully after engine repair oil channels.
