Removal and installation/check of the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid

The sensor of temperature of cooling liquid should be checked, if the cold engine is badly started or works with interruptions. The sensor of temperature of cooling liquid is in dependence years of release and the engine or on a reverse side of the engine, or in an inlet collector.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To disconnect the tip of the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid.
  1. To unscrew the temperature sensor. To substitute a pure vessel and to collect following cooling liquid.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To suspend the temperature sensor in capacity with water and slowly to heat up water.
  1. To measure resistance of the sensor of temperature by an ohmmeter. For this purpose to connect one plug of an ohmmeter to the case, other plug of an ohmmeter to the sensor plug.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To establish the temperature sensor with new laying and to screw with effort of 25 Nanometers.
  2. To fill in cooling liquid.
  3. To warm up the engine and to leave to idle, the radiator fan will not turn on yet. Once again to check level of cooling liquid.
