  1. For check of a working surface and width of a facet of the valve it is necessary to cover a facet of the valve with a thin layer of "Preussischblau" (Prussian blue) or "Bleiweiss" (white lead). To insert the valve and slightly to press on a saddle facet.

The valve thus not to rotate. If color is distributed non-uniformly, the facet of the valve should be processed further. It should not be thus exceeded the maximum or minimum sizes of width of a facet, see a size table of valves.
