In principle, the head of cylinders of engines E has the same design, as at other petrol engines. In the following text it will be specified only differences.
Removal
|
|
To disconnect a weight cable from the battery.
To block the crankshaft and to unscrew a bolt of fastening of a cogwheel of a cam-shaft.
For blocking of the crankshaft to include the 5th or 4th transfer and to ask the assistant to squeeze out a brake pedal.
To unscrew a natyazhitel of a driving chain.
To weaken bolts of a head of cylinders in sequence with 1 on 10 for the first pass on 1/2 turns, for the second pass on one whole turn and completely to turn out on the third pass.

Weakening of bolts of a head of cylinders in an inadequate order can lead to deformation or cracks in a head of cylinders. |
To remove shaft of yokes with halves of bearings of a cam-shaft.
To connect an asterisk of a cam-shaft and a driving chain a wire, for fixing of provision of an asterisk and a chain from each other.

To remove an asterisk of a cam-shaft and to remove a cam-shaft.
|
To ask the assistant to keep constantly a cam-shaft asterisk under a tension that the driving chain did not come off a crankshaft asterisk. | If the chain came off a crankshaft asterisk, the distributive mechanism is necessary for adjusting again. |
To check, whether all hoses and the wires going from a head of cylinders to the engine and a body, are disconnected.
To remove a head of cylinders by means of the assistant.

Not to put a head of cylinders after removal on a sealing surface, completely open valves can be thus damaged. To lay a head of cylinders on two wooden whetstones. |

Installation
|
|
To insert a cam-shaft.
To establish a cam-shaft asterisk with a driving chain.
To establish shaft of yokes with halves of bearings of a cam-shaft.
To wrap 10 bolts to a prileganiye to a head of cylinders effort of a hand. Then bolts should be tightened in three passes. On each pass bolts are tightened in sequence, from the 1st on the 10th.
1st pass: 50 Nanometers 2nd pass: 70 Nanometers 3rd pass: 90 Nanometers | The inhaling of bolts of a head of cylinders should be made very attentively. Before an inhaling it is necessary to check accuracy of a dinamometrichesky key. Besides, it is necessary to follow sequence of an inhaling precisely. |
To block the crankshaft, to establish a bolt of fastening of a cogwheel of a cam-shaft and to tighten it with effort of 75 Nanometers.
For blocking of the crankshaft to include the 4th or 5th transfer and to ask the assistant to squeeze out a brake pedal.

To press a stopper in the direction of an arrow and completely to move the coupling of a natyazhitel of a chain into the case of a natyazhitel. To fix the coupling a bracket.
|
To establish and screw a natyazhitel of a chain with new laying.
After installation of a natyazhitel the bracket is weakened at the expense of crankshaft rotation. The coupling is displaced automatically and establishes люфт chains.
To check adjustment of a driving chain. For this purpose to turn the crankshaft that the label on a belt pulley coincided with well-aimed "T". At the same time yokes of the 1st cylinder should have small люфт, and yokes of the 4th cylinder should be in the provision of overlapping of valves, i.e. both valves should be pressed by yokes down. If not so, a driving chain it is necessary to adjust it again.

To establish a cover of a head of cylinders with new laying of a cover and segment consolidation. To screw a cover with effort of 10 Nanometers.

To connect a cable of weight of the battery.

Adjustment of a driving chain
|

To uncover heads of cylinders.
|
|
To block the crankshaft and to unscrew a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of a cam-shaft (the engine is represented in the removed situation).

For blocking of the crankshaft to include the 5th or 4th transfer and to ask the assistant to squeeze out a brake pedal.
To remove a natyazhitel of a chain.
To remove maple a belt, see. Section Removal and installation/tension of a maple belt.
To lift the car.
To block the crankshaft and to unscrew a bolt of fastening of a belt pulley of the crankshaft.
To unscrew all bolts of the pallet of a case which are screwed in in a cover of a driving chain.
To unscrew a chain cover.

To turn the crankshaft so that the groove of a shponka was turned up. At the same time polished (brilliant) links of a chain should coincide with labels on asterisks of distributive and cranked shaft. If labels do not coincide, to remove an asterisk from a cam-shaft and to adjust a chain.

If the chain is adjusted truly, to establish a cam-shaft asterisk, the case of a driving chain, a cover of a head of cylinders, a remenny pulley of the crankshaft and bolts of fastening of the pallet of a case.
